Richmond Place

Richmond Place is a community located just to the northeast of Tampa. It was developed in the late 1990s, and designed to take advantage of the natural preserves and wildlife that surround it. Most of its homes are located on or near a preserve or water feature - look out your back door and you might see deer or any one of a number of beautiful tropical birds.

Richmond Place’s community hub is a center with an exquisite swimming pool , playground, picnic huts, barbecue grills, and tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. For something a little less structured, the community is intertwined with nature and bike trails. One of these leads to Flatwoods Wilderness Park, which is a must-see.

 Richmond Place is unique in that its residents are a very culturally-diverse people. This is a refreshing change from the typical Bay area Florida community! Also atypical of many Florida communities is the careful planning that went in to the building of Richmond Place. You do not have to get in your car to go to the movies or a restaurant when you live there. But just in case you feel that you must, you are just a ten- or twenty-minute drive from some of Florida’s hottest attractions.

All this, and a short drive to downtown Tampa – you could not ask for more!
